How We Work

Our Debt Settlement Program is actually quite simple. Your current level of unsecured debt will be skillfully negotiated for you, and eventually you will end up paying a settled and agreed fraction of the debt. On average, we negotiate your total debt down to an average of 40-65%* of the amount you originally owed. We will assist you by setting up an affordable monthly payment; determined on a client-by-client basis between you and a Certified Advisor at Assista Financial Solutions. Based upon what you are able to pay each month into your new settlement account, we can determine how many months it will take for you to settle your debt. Throughout the program, we communicate with your creditors on your behalf and provide assistance to you.

We will contact each of your creditors individually, and inform them that we are now representing you, and also let them know of your interest in settling your debt with them. Reaching a settlement usually takes several phone calls and communication between Assista Financial Solutions and the creditor. Once a settlement offer has been reached, and you as the client have agreed on this amount, we will obtain that settlement offer in writing from the creditor and will then obtain your approval and advise you on how best to disperse the funds to the creditor.

At that point, the creditor has accepted the payment in full, and you are free of that debt forever. Assista Financial Solutions will diligently continue to work on negotiating all of your debts until you are finally free from the overwhelming debt that you started with in our program.

Our main goal is to get you out of debt. We work only for our clients; not for the benefit of the creditors. Settling your debt is the first step to becoming financially secure, and debt settlement may be your best option.

*Assista debt settlements are negotiated, and all creditors may not provide offers. Full program participation is required to obtain maximum settlement benefit. Clients considering bankruptcy should always contact a qualified attorney.
